In the construction site of air membrane building, we often see a group of people pulling the membrane cloth to spread outwards, which is an important part of the air membrane structure construction - membrane exhibition.
The process of spreading membrane of air membrane building often lasts for a long time, which is time-consuming and labour-intensive. So why can't we just use mechanical equipment instead of manually spreading the membrane? Beijing Xinyuan Yijia Membrane Structure Technology Co.

There are two main reasons for adopting artificial membrane spreading: one is to protect the membrane material from damage, and the other is for the flexibility of construction.
As we all know, air membrane structure building belongs to flexible building system. Although the shell of the air membrane building is generally made of highly flexible and strong stretch-resistant membrane material, there is still a possibility of destruction when using mechanical construction. Because the tension of mechanical equipment than artificial tension is too much, the slightest carelessness will tear the membrane material. The artificial exhibition membrane because the tension is smaller, relatively more controllable, the chance of membrane damage is also smaller.
Air membrane unfolding and laying need to correspond to the position on the drawing, construction personnel wearing special soft-soled shoes can walk freely on the membrane material, adjust the position of the membrane cloth. However, if you choose the mechanical spreading membrane, when you need to adjust the orientation of the membrane cloth, on the one hand, the flexibility is not strong enough, on the other hand, the weight of the machinery pressed on the membrane surface will cause damage to the membrane material.
Therefore, in order to fully protect the membrane material, generally choose manual spreading.
