Chongqing Zhiqiu Air Membrane Skating Hall is an indoor ice and snow sports arena featuring air membrane construction technology, located in the mountainous city of Chongqing in Southwest China.
Traditional ice and snow venues have a long construction period, high energy consumption and many site restrictions, while the Chongqing Zhiqiu Air Membrane Skating Pavilion built by Xinyuan Air Membrane has successfully realised the high efficiency from the entry of membrane materials to the delivery of the venue in only 10 days.The ice skating hall adopts high-strength building membrane materials, equipped with intelligent temperature control, air circulation, energy-saving lighting and automatic control system, which can stably maintain the temperature of the ice surface in all-weather and reduce energy consumption by more than 40% compared with the traditional rinks, as well as having the flexibility of rapid dismantling and rebuilding in other places, which has set up a benchmark for the sustainable utilisation of ice and snow rinks.
The application of the air film skating hall breaks the seasonal and geographical restrictions of ice and snow sports, and promotes the deep integration of "ice and snow economy" and national fitness, culture, sports and tourism, and also injects new kinetic energy for regional economic development.
